Welcome to the Hinton Blackhawks youth football program.
As the season nears, we hope to use this site as a information resource that provides you and your child with the information needed to make this
a better program for all. The goal of our program is to provide a safe and productive environment that enables our athletes to learn and apply the
principles of teamwork, discipline, dedication, and sportsmanship. We facilitate the development of strength and character in every athlete that
participates. Participation in our program is open to all children in the Hinton Public School System.
We are sustained by the efforts of volunteers and coaches who display an extraordinary amount of commitment and hard work, ensuring that our
program is a positive influence in the lives of our athletes. We also strive to provide a service to our community by providing a healthy outlet for children,
opportunities for the community to gather together, and endless hours of entertainment.

Hinton Youth Tackle Football Guidelines
Each grade level shall not exceed more than four coaches.
This will allow each grade level to have two coordinators and two assistants.
Only coaches and /or medical staff are allowed to be on the sidelines and field of play during a game.
Practices should be pre-planned and organized to insure quality instruction
and communication among players, coaches and parents.
Filming of games and /or practices shall be done off the field of play.
All parties involved in the program shall conduct themselves in a positive, professional manner.
The Hinton Youth Board reserves the right to review any misconduct or abuse
of program guidelines at which disciplinary action could be enforced.
Provide the opportunity for the youth to participate in team sports in a safe, well-supervise environment.
Promote the ideas of good sportsmanship, fair play, teamwork and healthy competition.
Strive to develop the Confidence and self-esteem of each individual participant.
Promote a program that reflects the positive character and school spirit
among players, parents, volunteer coaches and community.
